What is Marble Mountain:
Marble mountain is a very important site of Da Nang. For many hundred years, it has been a religious center for both Buddhist and Hindu. In the Mountain, there are many important relics and artifacts built by the ancient people. People visit Marble mountains for many reasons, some of which can be listed here:
The Marble Mountains are a cluster of five marble and limestone mountains which are named after the five elements. Stone steps carved into the mountain lead to a Buddhist Pagoda. You can also discover stunning caves and enjoy the beautiful view from the mountain top.
Marble Mountains are also home to Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, which is a unique craft village. Situated at the foot of the Marble Mountains, this craft village has a proud history covering more than 200 years.
We will head north to visit the Son Tra Peninsula. It is 693-meter high above sea level and 10-kilometer from the center of Da Nang City to the North-East. Pay a visit to Son Tra Linh Ung Pagoda, considered one of the biggest pagodas in Da Nang City. The most striking feature of this vast pagoda is its huge Lady Buddha statue, which is one of the tallest in Vietnam and spectacularly dominates the skyline. Marble & Monkey Mountain
Bondi –
We visited on 12/5/24 and we took the afternoon tour from 2-7pm. Our tour guide was Khanh, and not only was he so friendly and warm, but he also shared so much history and culture with us. The transportation (pick up and drop off from Hoi An) was smooth and comfortable.
Because we visited in December, the sun sets earlier, so by the time we arrived at the Monkey Mountain with Lady Buddha, the sky was already dark. For this reason, I would recommend taking the morning tour instead (to get better pictures).
Highly recommend.

The tour was exactly as described, our tour guide was super knowledgable, friendly and helpful – we learned a lot! There was plenty of time to explore on our own as well as be with the group in each of the three places. Lunch was delicious and plentiful and included in the price. Highly recommend.

Our family of three (two adult children and mom) had a fantastic time on the Son Tra and Marble Mountain tour. Mr. Khanh, our guide, was incredibly kind, patient and accommodating, making the experience smooth and enjoyable.
Though some parts of Marble Mountain were a bit challenging, it was still worthwhile. We also enjoyed the company of the other friendly and welcoming group members, which added to the fun.
The tour was well-paced, letting us explore multiple attractions in the morning while leaving enough time to rest and prepare for our next adventure in Hoi An. A perfect start to the day and highly recommended!
Thank you Khanh
