Located atop the Mountain, the village has become a beloved destination, offering a magical and romantic atmosphere reminiscent of an old-world European town.

The French Village was built as part of the modern Ba Na Hills resort, but its origins trace back to the early 20th century.
Ba Na Hills was originally developed as a French colonial retreat after being discovered by Captain Debay in April 1901. Due to its cool climate, the French authorities decided to build a private resort for their officers and soldiers. By 1937, the area had been fully developed with restaurants, hotels, and entertainment facilities.
The current French Village, inspired by classic Gothic architecture, recreates the charm of old France, offering visitors a magical European-style experience in the heart of Vietnam.

However, between 1945 and 1975, during the period when the French attempted to reoccupy Vietnam, the local people destroyed the colonial structures. Over time, Ba Na Hills was abandoned, covered by dense forests, and forgotten for decades.
In 2007, Sun Group invested in the area, restoring and developing Ba Na Hills into a world-class tourist destination. They built numerous impressive landmarks, including the French Village. This revival transformed Ba Na into a vibrant attraction, drawing visitors from all over the world.
The project was a collaboration between Ba Na Cable Car Service JSC and Ba Na Hills Company, with a total investment of 80 million USD.
