Marble Mountain is a religious place in Da Nang. It was a cluster of the 5 mountains representing metal, wood, water, fire, earth. The water mountain is a must- visit place since it is the most important one.  There we can discover the marble sculptures carved 200 years ago, natural caves formed inside the limestone mountains. This is the best chance to learn about the buddhist life and history of the mountain.

Lady Buddha is an important Goddess in Vietnamese culture. Vietnamese believe she help the people stay safe in natural disasters as typhoons or flood. For that the people of Da Nang built a big one facing the ocean to prevent hurricanes. The statue is said to be 67 m tall and the second tallest in Vietnam.

What To Expect

Day 1: Departure

We will climb up the stone stairs and visit the caves and pagodas as well as admire the beautiful panoramic view. Marble Mountain Linh Ung Pagoda at Marble Mountains has been designated a national historical and cultural site by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Son Tra and Lady Buddha

We will continue to Son Tra Peninsula, where we can admire the beauty of the Son Tra Linh Ung Pagoda – one of the largest pagodas in Da Nang City.

Hai Van Pass

Continue moving over Hai Van Pass, the longest and highest mountain pass road in Vietnam with a length of 21 kilometers. On the national highway No.1, Hai Van Pass is an impressive landscape.

Lang Co lagoon

We then will head to Lang Co Beach. With its gradually sloping, white sand beach, the average depth of less than 1-meter and the average temperature in the bathing season of 25oC, Lang Co is an ideal beach for tourists. Not far from the beach, we can see Chan May scenery and Lang Co Fishing Village.
