What To Expect

1

Take the cable car

The cable car ride to Ba Na Hills is an attraction in itself. As passengers ascend, they are treated to stunning views of lush tropical forests, mist-covered mountains, and waterfalls. The ride offers a serene and panoramic experience, making the journey as memorable as the destination. It provides a smooth and quiet passage, giving visitors a bird’s-eye view of the region’s natural beauty.

2

Golden Hand bridge

Ba Na is one of the most interesting areas in the region as often one can feel the four distinct seasons within a single day: morning – spring, noon – summer, afternoon – autumn and evening – winter. You will have a chance to visit Golden Bridge which is a 150-meter long pedestrian bridge with two giant stone hands supporting the structure. It is designed to connect the cable car station with the gardens and to provide a scenic overlook and tourist attraction. We can enjoy the view of the beautiful landscape of nature comfortably and smoothly.

3

French Village

Past the Golden Bridge, and into the center of a charming (and very Epcot-like) French village, complete with French Gothic-style cathedral, French restaurants, cobblestoned streets and impressive French gardens.

4

Other attraction

There are many more places in Ba Na Hills to explore including Linh Ung Ba Na Pagoda, Le Jardin Garden and a complex of ancient villas. Linh Ung Ba Na Pagoda with an exquisite architectural design was built in 2004 and is symbolized by a 30-meter high Buddha statue that is exposed amidst an immense space of clouds and mountains. We will continue our trip discovering Tinh Tam Garden, Nghinh Phong Peak, Luna Castle, Eclipse Square and Vong Nguyet Hill where we can enjoy the panoramic views the areas have to offer.

  1. Cheap and good

    James

Excellent view and tour guide. Like others mentions, khanh was the best. He organized the tour for us. This is the cheapest option for a private tour

  2. Bana Hills needs to be on your to do list.

    Kiri M

We booked this private tour with Khanh prior to leaving Australia. Khanh has been incredible helpful in organising all our transfers and activities during our stay in the Hoi An/ Da Nang area. Excellent communication and super flexible in customising our trip to be exactly what we wanted.

Khanh himself was our guide for today and met us at our hotel. He was very knowledgeable about his home town Hoi An and we are so glad that we had him with us otherwise we would have got incredibly lost in Bana Hills.

Bana Hills is mind blowing, the scale and attention to detail is incredible. Visiting during wet season means that it was raining however the mist and the fog made it even more mysterious and magical. Our children had a fantastic day & Khanh was very patient and kind, helping our youngest with his rain poncho and holding his hand in slippery areas.

Highly recommend visiting Bana Hills and getting a private tour guide who knows the best times, best photo locations and their way around!

Working with Khanh has made planning this leg of our Vietnam holiday incredibly easy & stress free! Himself was the perfect guide for our family and we hope to see her again our travels!

  3. Unforgettable

    Carl

We had an incredible experience with Mate Hoi An Tours! We arranged airport transportation and two tours—Coconut Boat Tour and Ba Na Hills—and every moment was exceptional. My wife uses walking sticks, which can make getting around challenging, but Khanh was incredibly accommodating. He made sure we saw everything we wanted, and more! They took fantastic photos, and even adjusted the tour to include a visit to our tailor and a stop for Cao Lau. Khanh’s Tours are perfect for those looking for a personalized experience, not just a “tourist” experience. He was always just a WhatsApp message away, ensuring we had everything we needed. Highly recommend Mate Hoi An Tours for anyone looking for a seamless, tailored, and unforgettable adventure! Last but not least, he was not engaged with any OTA ( Tripadvisor, get your guide), so his tours are usually 30% cheaper than others.

  4. Highly Recommended Tour and Guide for Hoi An

Although we visited in the rainy season and the day of this trip was particularly wet and foggy to start with, Khanh and his driver went out of their way to schedule the day for us to make the most of it. The majority of the Ba Na Hills excursion is within the (quite vast) Sunworld Ba Na Hills park – including the Longest Cable Car ride in the World! Whilst a lot of the day was foggy, we concentrated on more of the indoor activities, free beer at a German craft beer brewery up in the mountains, a couple of very good 4D movies, a nice lunch. By this time the fog had lifted somewhat so we headed to the Hands Bridge and got some good pics.
Would imagine it’s a different experience in the Summer – both in terms of weather and, of course, number of visitors!
Khanh communicated professionally with us and we have subsequently also booked him for airport transfer at the end of our stay.
Would highly recommend Mate Hoi An Tours for anyone visiting Da Nang or Hoi An.
